Weekly Lens preview

v0.2·

The core of FounderLens is the Weekly Lens — a Monday morning digest that takes your real numbers and turns them into a clear operating read for the week. Here's what it actually looks like.

What the Weekly Lens shows you

Every Monday you get three things:

1. What moved — the metrics that changed materially in the past week, with context: was this expected, is the trend good, and how does it compare to recent weeks?

2. What it means — not just the number, but the implication. Revenue up 8% is great. But if churn also ticked up, that's a signal worth understanding before you celebrate.

3. This week's focus — the three things most worth your attention, ranked by impact. Not generated from a template. Derived from what actually changed in your business.

What we connected in the beta

Right now the Weekly Lens reads from:

  • Stripe — MRR, new MRR, churned MRR, net revenue retention
  • Product analytics (Mixpanel / Amplitude / PostHog) — activation rate, DAU/MAU, time-to-value
  • Accounting — burn rate, runway, operating expenses

More integrations are coming. If your key tool isn't listed, let us know — we're building the connection list based on what beta founders actually need.

Feedback from beta

The most common reaction from beta founders: "I didn't realise how much mental energy I was spending just to get to this." The Weekly Lens doesn't give you more information. It gives you the same information with the interpretation already done.

That's the goal. Not more data. A clearer operating picture.

What's next

Next up: the decision framework library, starting with the three decisions early-stage founders face most often — pricing, hiring, and whether to raise.
