Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FounderLens (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
FounderLens is an operating-clarity platform for first-time founders. The Service is operated by FounderLens (“we”, “us”, “our”). During the private-beta period, access is invite-only and features may change without notice.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@founderlens.co if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor, Paddle. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions and issues receipts and invoices on our behalf. By subscribing you agree to Paddle’s Terms of Service and authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Prices are displayed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and collects based on your location. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary, paid subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the original charge, no questions asked.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and all content, features, and functionality are owned by FounderLens and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own internal business purposes. You retain ownership of any data you connect to or upload.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Integrations you connect are accessed read-only; we do not modify your third-party data.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paying subscribers.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
